Durable hard landscaping begins with the correct foundation.

A successful garden rebuild should create a practical, comfortable outdoor space where every area works together and the finished garden feels like a natural extension of the home.

We deliver patios, paths, steps, retaining walls, raised beds, pergolas, fencing and complete garden transformations designed around how the space will be used.

For a five-part garden transformation in Bembridge, our team completed the groundworks, drainage, paving, pergola, and raised growing areas within three weeks. The homeowner was left with one coordinated finish, no unfinished sections and a complete garden ready to enjoy for summer

We recently hired Penny Tree Surgery and Landscaping for a big garden project and couldn't be happier. They did a brilliant job with our new brick retaining wall and stairs, patio repointing, new fencing, and tree surgery on our gum tree. The work is excellent, the finish is fantastic, and everything was completed exactly as quoted. They are a great bunch of guys - A big thanks to Bruce, Jacob, and Darren and Jack (fantastic brickies!). If you want a friendly, professional, reliable, and highly skilled team for your landscaping or tree surgery needs, look no further. We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future! Many thanks!

Bruce and his team have just completed the installion of a set of steps and a handrail at the front of our property. They have done an excellent job and we would not hesitate to use them again. The team are hard-working and they coped well with difficult (and changeable) weather conditions as the job progressed. They were always very polite, easy to deal with and they kept the site tidy. A pleasure to have them working on our property. Definitely recommended!

This is a follow up review to the one submitted perviously following tree and shrub management undertaken in January in our recently acquired garden. At the time, we were very pleased with the whole team, but Bruce was amazing; taking the time to talk the work through, make suggestions and explain the tasks. The trees and shrubs are now in leaf and/or blossom (hence review 2) so we can really see how successful the work has been. Very happy with the team, very pleased with the work and we would say the service has been outstanding. We would highly recommend.

I booked Bruce of Penny Tree Surgery and Landscaping to tidy a few trees in desperate need. Professional from beginning to end. Arrived when they said they would. Did a fabulous job with the trees including pollarding, reshaping, removal of ivy off one large tree and crown lift. Full waste removal and tidy up. I will be using Bruce and his friendly, polite team again next time and highly recommend them.

Bruce and the Team did some great work in our new garden. We moved into our new home in the Bembridge area 3 months ago and the garden need some work: 1) large trees needing cutting back / pollarding; 2) numerous small / medium trees and shrubs clearing and grinding out; 3) approx a dozen medium and large tree stumps grinding out; 4) new fencing and clearance at the side / front garden; 5) a brand new 13 metre long raised bed with sleepers. The work was completed over 3.5 days. We are very happy with the outcome and quality of the work and look forward to enjoying the garden in spring / summer. Bruce and the team were very polite and discussed options, the work and quoted costs clearly in advance. They also gave the garden a good old tidy after the work too so we had no mess at all to deal with afterwards. Would certainly recommend them.

Hard landscaping questions, answered

Get in touch

What will my patio or garden rebuild cost?

We assess the ground and scope first, then provide a fixed written quotation based on the site conditions and specified work.

How quickly can I get a quote?

We acknowledge enquiries the same day and arrange a site visit within two working days. After assessing the site, we typically provide the fixed written quotation within 5 working days to make sure we have a complete and detailed quotation for your review.

Are you insured for landscaping work?

Yes. We carry public liability cover and send the certificate on request before starting.

How do you protect the rest of my garden during the work?

We protect the lawn and access routes with large rubber track mats, keep the spoil contained, and clear it as we go rather than let it sit. The site is left clean at the end.

What happens to the spoil and old materials?

We take away all spoil and offcuts as an EA registered waste carrier.

Will you need access for machinery?

We agree the access route with you first, and work around tight or awkward gardens.

Do you build retaining walls on sloped gardens?

Yes. We build block, brick or sleeper retaining walls to hold back sloped ground safely.

What paving materials can you lay?

Sandstone, limestone, porcelain, block paving, natural stone, gravel and resin, all laid to spec.
