School sites require work to be planned around children, staff, collection times and public-facing boundaries. We agree working hours and access in advance, and maintain marked exclusion zones throughout our time on site.
Bruce Penny leads the work and is NPTC City & Guilds qualified, with fifteen years of practical experience. Every tree project follows British Standard BS 3998:2010, RAMS are written for the site before arrival and the grounds are cleared and returned to use the same day wherever the scope allows. One Island team remains responsible from the first visit to final clear-up, providing one company and one named contact throughout.

Boundary and security fencing using concrete posts, closeboard or weldmesh to maintain a secure and serviceable perimeter.
Holiday-programme works
Larger removals, reductions and site clearance scheduled during half-term or the summer break, when children are off site.

Public liability cover is in place, and the certificate goes to your business manager on request.

We issue risk assessments and method statements before work starts, written for your grounds, access and site-specific hazards.

Waste documented
Arisings and clearance are removed and disposed of, with waste transfer notes kept as an EA registered waste carrier.
Safe around children
Marked exclusion zones, signage and agreed access on every visit, with the work planned around the school day so the team and the children are kept apart.
